What style do you play? Any good music from deep house to hip hop, soul and groove!

What's your show all about? My show is there to promote the French music culture - to let the world know that some artistes in France are really creative and capable of an international career. France is not only about Daft Punk and boring pop!

How will French music progress in the new millennium? I do my show in collaboration with the French Music Bureau, a number of independent labels and some majors. There seems to be a trend amongst their artists for going deep and jazzy while the hip hop artists are establishing their own sound - this mixture is proving really popular in France now. Also, because of the 40% French Music law imposed on the French radio stations, we're starting to see a lot of new acts coming up, like Nino Cinelu or Mathieu Chedid who are real poets. The music scene is a catalyst for integrating all the different cultures like the Algerian and raga sounds.

Your top 5 tunes/albums of all time? Chateau Flight - Poesie Champetre; St Germain - Sure Thing; Demon - Back In The Days; Michell Jonaz - Le Millenaire (drum 'n' bass version) and Pierre Perret's Le Zizi.

What music don't you like? Music is like cuisine - you have good recipes and bad recipes. A music lover is able to tell the difference between good and bad music!
